DiceGame Overview

It's the late 1960s in the United States. While peace, love, and understanding seem to rule the day, not everyone is choosing to reject materialism. Gangs are re-emerging as a form of identification, protection, and wealth, and gangs are no longer armed with switchblades and bats. The Gun Control Act of 1968 hasn't yet been passed into law, so automatic weapons are moving freely into the country and across state lines. Gang bosses are investing more and more into legal business affairs without hesitating to unleash their thugs on the competition to gain an advantage.

Greed, a card drafting game by the creator of Dominion, puts you in the role of a gang boss during this era of corruption and violent crime. You're out to get only one thing—money—and you're willing to use any means necessary to get it. In every round of Greed you'll hire thugs, invest in illicit holdings, and perform underhanded actions in order to get ahead of your competition. You'll also have the opportunity to sabotage your opponent's efforts along the way. The player with the most money at the end of twelve rounds wins.
